Harsco Extends, Expands Role at ArcelorMittal's French Operations
05/21/2018 - Mill services contractor Harsco Corp. has renewed two logistics and packaging contracts – and signed four new agreements – with ArcelorMittal Atlantique & Lorraine in France, the company has announced.
"As we continue to grow our market-leading role in the logistics and packaging segment, this renewal and extension reflects our customers’ confidence in Harsco’s long-standing commitments to quality, innovation and safety," said Chris Whistler, chief operating officer of Harsco’s metals and minerals unit.
"Our regional leadership team has developed meaningful relationships with our customers, translating into longer contracts and further opportunities to add value,” he added.
The agreements, each to last for six years, builds on Harsco’s existing relationship with ArcelorMittal Mardyck, Florange, and Fos-sur-Mer in France, where it has provided on-site services for several years.
The contracts are effective immediately, Harsco said.
