Harley Scardoelli Elected Corporate Director of Investor Relations for Gerdau


Harley Scardoelli is Gerdau’s Corporate Director responsible for the Treasury, Finance and Planning departments. After the transition process, he will accumulate the activities of the Investor Relations, Accounting, Tax and Legal departments.
 
Mr. Scardoelli joined Gerdau in 1988, serving most of his career in the group's international operations (Canada, United States and Spain). He received bachelor’s degrees in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and in Business Administration from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUC-RS) and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder, which is considered by financial and capital markets the most important U.S. certification in the field of investment analysis.
 
The Boards of Directors thank André Pires for his important contributions to improving the processes under his leadership at Gerdau.
