H2 Green Steel Sees Opportunity for Canadian Facility
10/10/2023 - Swedish steel startup H2 Green Steel and the Canadian government are discussing the potential for an iron facility or a steel mill in Quebec, reports the Bloomberg news service.
According to Bloomberg, the company, which is planning to build a green steel mill in Sweden, is considering a EUR3 billion to EUR6 billion investment in Canada.
“We bring with us a portfolio of customers who want to have supply in North America,” H2 Green Steel chief executive officer Henrik Henriksson told Bloomberg.
