Global Steel Production Is Up. Here's How Much.
07/26/2018 - Global crude steel production rose 881.4 million metric tons in the first half of 2018, reports news and pricing provider S&P Global Platts.
According to Platts, output during the first six months of 2018 was up 4.6% from the same period last year.
In North America, crude steel production stood at 59 million metric tons in the first half, up 2.4% from the same time in 2017.
