Global Gauge Corp. Acquires E.S.C. Resources
01/22/2015 - Global Gauge Corporation (GGC) has acquired the operating assets of E.S.C. Resources (ESC) of Montgomery, Ill.
ESC was founded by Bart Moscarello in 1987. Over the past 28 years, ESC has installed or upgraded hundreds of isotope-based thickness and coating gauges around the world. Moscarello and his employees have now joined the staff at GGC.
The addition of the isotope thickness and coating gauge products supplements the existing product lines of GGC. For the past 15+ years, GGC has been providing industrial x-ray thickness and coating gauges to the flat products industries around the world. In 2013, GGC launched their vision-based products line, with the installation of their first hot mill stereoscopic width gauge.
Related to this acquisition, GGC has opened a new office in the Chicago area. The location of this operation facilitates even more responsive service to mills and process lines in Northern Indiana and the Greater Chicago Areas.
