German Steelmaker in Talks to Sell Brazilian Plant
10/25/2016 - thyssenkrupp might sell its Brazilian steel plant, Companhia Siderúrgica do Atlântico, to Latin American steelmaker Ternium, according to The Wall Street Journal.
Citing unnamed sources, The Journal said the two companies are deep into negotiations and might strike a deal by the end of the year. There is, however, no guarantee that a deal will take place for integrated slab plant, the newspaper said.
