Gerdau Opts for Danieli Electrode Regulation System
06/01/2021 - Gerdau will outfit seven of its Brazilian mills with Danieli’s Q-REG electrode regulator system, according to the equipment manufacturer.
“Q-REG provides not only the control of electrodes based on a dedicated HiPAC high-performance process controller, but also fast data acquisition and processing to analyze process parameters in real time, such as arc stability, arc coverage and radiation index per electrode,” Danieli said in a statement.
The order also includes maintenance services from Danieli do Brasil specialists, Danieli said.
