FOERSTER Instruments Expands Portfolio
04/24/2020 - Non-destructive testing equipment maker FOERSTER Instruments Inc. is adding to its inspection offerings through a new representation agreement, the company has announced.
FOERSTER said it is now the exclusive U.S. and Canada representative for Aeroplata Argentina S.A., a South American specialist in wet magnetic particle inspection equipment for crack detection in ferrous materials. The agreement allows FOERSTER to add special end area (SEA) inspection capabilities to its portfolio.
“We are very excited to work with Aeroplata,” said FOERSTER president Jason Wilburn.
“Representing Aeroplata in North America allows both companies to better serve our customers. FOERSTER can provide a more complete testing solution, and Aeroplata’s customers benefit from local sales and service,” he said.
FOERSTER said Aeroplata is considered the market leader in SEA inspection. Its products and services are immediately available through FOERSTER in the U.S. and Canada.
