“The new plant in Texas will be our first facility in the United States. We are relying on Fives’ presence in the local market, its long-standing reputation as a supplier of reliable equipment, and their vast experience,” said Husteel chief executive officer Hoon Park. 

The plant will produce pipe and tube in diameters ranging from 60 mm to 114 mm with wall thicknesses of up to 10 mm for the oil and gas sector. Fives will supply a slitter, a welded pipe and tube mill, a straightener, and an end facer, among other equipment.
