Fives Marks Installation of Annealing, Galvanizing Furnaces
10/03/2017 - French engineering firm and equipment maker Fives has fulfilled an order for two continuous annealing line furnaces and a continuous galvanizing line furnace for a new integrated plant in China.
The Stein Digiflex furnaces were installed as part of construction of Baosteel’s Zhanjiang facility, which was inaugurated in August. The lines are part of the plant’s 1,550 mm cold mill. The mill is capable of producing 2.55 million metric tons annually.
The continuous annealing line has a capacity of 700,000 metric tons annually and the galvanizing line has a capacity of 270,000 metric tons annually.
