In a statement, Ferragon said Kauffman, as vice president-commercial, will be particularly focused on the company’s HyCAL and Ferrous Metal Processing units. 

“Greg is a unicorn,” said Joe Gonzalez, Ferragon vice president-corporate. “He has a really strong and unique combination of technical expertise across multiple product lines, sales and sales management experience with large OEMS, and great relationships across the industry. We’re very excited to have him on the team and think he fits extremely well with our corporate direction and our culture.” 

Kauffman has a background in plate, structural, strip, and advanced high-strength steels as well as a strong sales background in distribution, automotive and agricultural industries. Prior to joining Ferragon, served as territory manager for Worthington Steel and regional sales manager in two positions with SSAB.
