Explosion Rocks ATI Plant; No One Injured
07/25/2013 - No one was reported injured Wednesday night in an explosion at the ATI Allegheny Ludlum plant along Route 981 in Derry Township, a company spokesman said, the Pittsburgh Tribune Review reported.
The explosion was caused by water that came in contact with hot metal at the plant, ATI spokesman Daniel Greenfield said. The explosion damaged a portion of a building at the plant, Greenfield said.
