EVRAZ Stratcor Consolidates North American Sales Activities in Chicago
08/20/2014 - As part of EVRAZ’s long-term plan to consolidate its vanadium-sales activities serving the steel, titanium, and chemical industries, EVRAZ Stratcor has assumed the responsibility for marketing EVRAZ’s ferrovanadium and Nitrovan® vanadium products sold in North America, effective 8 August 2014.
These products had previously been marketed by the EVRAZ East Metals North American sales organization.
Now that EVRAZ Stratcor is a wholly-owned EVRAZ subsidiary, the company isbale to consolidate sales, marketing, customer service, finance, technical serves, and logistics into a single organization focused on the needs of all its North American vanadium customers. The consolidation will allow the Chicago-based sales and marketing group to meet customer needs for ferrovanadium and Nitrovan vanadium produced by EVRAZ subsidiaries worldwide as well as high-quality vanadium master alloys, oxides, and specialty chemicals produced by EVRAZ Stratcor’s Hot Springs, Ark., plant.
“We believe this consolidation will help us better serve our customer base as EVRAZ Stratcor now offers a complete line of vanadium products from a single source,” said Brad Ewers, vice president, marketing for EVRAZ Statcor. “We look forward to integrating the skills and experience of the two organizations into a single customer-focused marketing organization. During and after the transition, customers will continue to be served by our existing representatives who currently meet their needs.”
All contact information, including phone, fax, and email addresses, remains unchanged. The sales and marketing for all vanadium products will continue to operate from EVRAZ’s North American headquarters located at 200 East Randolf Drive, Suite 7800, Chicago, IL 60601.
