EVRAZ Resumes Pipe Production at Pueblo Facility
07/29/2015 - EVRAZ restarted production at its Pueblo seamless pipe unit at the end of June and has brought back about 75 jobs temporarily vacated due to a slump in orders, an EVRAZ North America spokeswoman said.
The steel maker in January announced plans to temporarily lay off about 200 workers due to the downturn in U.S. oil and gas drilling.
“We continue to monitor the market and will adjust crew levels accordingly,” the spokeswoman said.
