EVRAZ North America Names New Executive Vice President for Long Products Business
11/22/2013 - EVRAZ North America announced Jerry Reed as the company’s new executive vice president – long products, the position formerly held by president and chief executive officer Conrad Winkler.
Reed originally joined EVRAZ in early 2011 as senior vice president – business development for North America. For the past year he has served as chief commercial and business development officer for EVRAZ Highveld Steel and Vanadium, South Africa’s second largest steel mill.
“I’m pleased to have Jerry back on the North American executive leadership team," said Winkler. “His extensive commercial and business development expertise will be very valuable as we leverage our operations and product development investments and continue to grow our Long Products business."
Reed previously worked for Century Aluminum Co. as vice president – commercial management and business development and for Alcoa as director – strategic marketing. He has a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, and a bachelor’s degree in business and economics from Emory and Henry College. He is also a CPA.
