EVRAZ North America Announces New Executive Vice President for Flat Products
05/14/2013 - EVRAZ North America announced the appointment of John Zanieski as executive vice president, Flat Products Group and Recycling.
EVRAZ North America announced the appointment of John Zanieski as executive vice president, Flat Products Group and Recycling. Zanieski will oversee commercial and manufacturing operations for the groups across the U.S. and Canada.
Zanieski joined EVRAZ in 2011 as president of recycling. He has over 25 years of industrial experience, most recently as general manager and vice president of West Coast Operations for Precision Castparts Corp. Previously, he was vice president — global supply chain for Tyco Electrical and Metal Products.
“Over the past two years, John has demonstrated commercial and manufacturing expertise that I’m confident will enable him to successfully lead our flat products business,” said Mike Rehwinkel, president and chief executive officer, EVRAZ North America. “John’s strategic thinking and extensive experience will be critical as we continue to grow our market presence and ability to serve our customers’ needs.”
Zanieski holds a bachelor's degree in economics and political science from Yale University and master’s degree in business administration from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School.
