Evraz North America Announces Executive Vice President

Evraz North America announced the appointment of Kimberly Fields as Executive Vice President for its Flat Products Group.
 
In her new position, Fields will oversee the Flat Products Group’s U.S. and Canadian commercial and manufacturing operations. The group produces steel plate and coiled plate used in construction of tanks, vessels, bridges and rail cars as well as the steel feedstock for Evraz pipemaking mills. The Group’s manufacturing facilities are located in Regina, Sask.; Claymont, Del.; Portland, Ore.; and Surrey, B.C.
 
Fields brings extensive manufacturing leadership experience to her new role, including leadership positions in operations, business development and engineering with Alcoa, Metalspectrum and Owens Corning. Most recently, she served as General Manager, Industrials for General Electric Energy where she was focused on growing GE’s penetration in the metals, petrochemical, and food & beverage segments.

Fields holds a B.S. in Ceramic Engineering from the University of Illinois and an M.B.A. from the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. She will be located at the company’s headquarters office in Chicago, Ill.
