Evraz Group Appoints Chairman and CEO of Evraz Vitkovice Steel
05/22/2009 - Evraz Group announced an appointment of Zbynek Kvapik as Chairman and CEO of Evraz Vitkovice Steel, Evraz’s subsidiary in Czech Republic.
Evraz Group announced an appointment of Zbynek Kvapik as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Evraz Vitkovice Steel, Evraz’s subsidiary in Czech Republic.
In his new role Kvapik succeeds Vladimir Bail who tendered his resignation as Chairman of the Board and CEO of Evraz Vitkovice Steel effective May 21, 2009.

Kvapik joined the Vitkovice plant in 1983, subsequently holding a series of increasingly responsible engineering and managerial positions. He was appointed Managing Director and Member of the Board of Vítkovice Steel in 2001. Vítkovice Steel became Evraz Vitkovice Steel in 2007.
He graduated from the Ostrava Technical University with a degree in Metallurgy and Material Engineering.
