EVRAZ Announces New Appointments
01/21/2015 - EVRAZ announced the appointment of Vladislav Zhukov to the position of managing director, EVRAZ KGOK (Kachkanar Iron Ore Enrichment Plant), and Vyacheslav Sarayev to the position of managing director, EVRAZ NMTP (Nakhodka Trade Sea Port), effective 16 January 2015.
Vladislav Zhukov, previously the managing director of EVRAZ NMTP, in his new role will be responsible for implementing the long-term development plan for EVRAZ KGOK, focusing on reducing the operational costs, enhancing efficiency of CAPEX spending and increasing the company's profitability.
Vyacheslav Sarayev prior to this appointment led development of the Mezhegeyskoye coalfield. In his new role he will continue shaping and implementing the development strategy for EVRAZ NMTP. Among the priorities are enhancing the company's efficiency, increasing the handling volumes, including external cargos, broadening the range of services offered, increasing the operational efficiency and reducing the costs.
"We expect these appointments to give a boost to the managerial teams' expertise at both sites. The new managers have a track record of success in their previous positions; they will uphold the implementation of current projects and the roll-out of prospective development plans for our strategic assets", says Marat Atnashev, vice-president, major projects, head of the Iron Ore Division, EVRAZ.
