Everguard.ai Names New Business Development Director

In a statement, Irvine, Calif.-based Everguard said Paul Thurber will work with customers to help keep their operations safe.
Thurber previously served as the safety director at Nucor Steel Tuscaloosa Inc., where he was responsible for the mill’s overarching safety efforts. An AIST member, he also is the 2020 Don B. Daily Safety Award winner.

"We are thrilled to welcome Paul to the Everguard team," said Everguard chief executive Sandeep Pandya. "His knowledge and expertise of the safety industry will help guide us as we continue to develop and refine our platform to meet the demands of environmental health and safety in industrial workplaces."

Everguard’s Sentri360 platform combines wearable sensors, computer vision, machine learning and artificial intelligence to provide a real-time platform to improve productivity and safety.

"I've worked with many teams to develop and sustain world-class safety cultures across multiple industries over the past 30 years. Now I have the opportunity to provide safety professionals a platform to do what we in safety have dreamt about for years: shift our approach from one that is reactive to one that is truly proactive. Ultimately, it is all about reducing incidents and injuries — and
saving lives," Thurber said.
