Essar Steel Algoma Inc. and USW, Local 2724 representing the company’s salaried employees announced Friday, 20 June that a tentative agreement has been reached. This tentative agreement has been unanimously recommended by the USW Local 2724 bargaining committee.  Voting will be held on Wednesday, 25 June.
 

Essar Steel Algoma Inc. is based in Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., Canada. Revenues are derived primarily from the manufacture and sale of rolled steel products, including hot and cold rolled sheet and plate.
