Essar Projects Awarded ONGC Reconstruction Contract
02/10/2009 - Essar Projects Limited is awarded ONGC’s Neelam Heera Reconstruction Contract, comprising modification and revamping of a number of offshore platforms and process complexes.
Essar Projects Limited, through its subsidiary Essar Offshore Subsea Limited (EOSSL), has been awarded ONGC’s Neelam Heera Reconstruction Contract. The contract is valued in excess of Rs.1000 crore.
The scope of the project comprises modification and revamping of the offshore platforms HRA, HRG, WIH, HA, HRC, NLW and NLP, as well as the installation of new equipment and facilities in the process complexes of Neelam and Heera located in the western offshore fields of India.

EOSSL is planning to undertake this project, which must be completed by May 2011, using high indigenous content, most notably ‘Scanlay’, its combination pipelaying and hook-up barge.
