Essar Hypermart to Expand in Tamilnadu and Pondicherry

11/18/2010 - Essar Hypermart plans to expand its retail outlets in Tamilnadu by 30% by 2011. It currently has 44 outlets in Tamilnadu and Pondicherry, increasing to 58 by March 2011.

Essar Hypermart now has more than 520 retail outlets across India, with a plan to increase its retail outlets to 776 by March 2011.
 
The retail chain recently has launched two products to widen its portfolio: PPGI (color coated) sheets and coils to increase penetration in the roofing segment, and wider plate mill plates for the heavy fabrications segment.
