Electrode Maker Establishes Sales Office in Canada
04/22/2016 - Graphite electrode manufacturer SANGRAF International is opening a Canadian sales office and has hired an industry veteran to call on the electric arc furnace shops there, the company has announced.
In a statement, the company said it has brought aboard Dale Harrison, who spent 30 years at Alta Steel Ltd. Harrison served as the operations manager at Alta's Edmonton, Alberta, mini-mill.
He retired from Alta in 2013. Harrison is also is a past president of the Electric Metal Makers Guild.
He will be based in Sherwood Park, Alberta.
“I’m looking forward to connecting with my friends and associates in the industry and using my total cost reduction and operational knowledge to help our customers succeed,” Harrison said.
