Danieli to Upgrade Turkish Meltshop
08/31/2016 - Turkey’s Kroman Çelik Sanayil is upgrading the injection system and installing Danieli’s Q-Melt Automatic EAF technology in its meltshop, Danieli has announced.
Danieli said the meltshop will be equipped with its Q-Melt Dynamic Heat Suite package, which is dedicated to metallurgical control of the electric arc furnace process.
The package includes dynamic electrode regulation with arc coverage control, a gas analyzer with TDLAS laser spectrometry, and its MELT-MODEL process control and optimizer. The three components work together to allow for automatic and dynamic adjustments during melting, Danieli said.
