The two mills will be the fifth and sixth Danieli rolling mill projects for the Indian steel producer. Together they will produce a total of 1 million tons per year of rebar from 8- to 40-mm-diameter in bundles, and wire rod from 5.5 to 20 mm in coils.
 
Scheduled to start operation in the first quarter of 2025, the two new mills will utilize Danieli Bar Quenching systems, bar counters, Danieli-patented oil-film bearing laying heads and Sund Birsta coil finishing facilities.
