Danieli Reports Successful Installation of Bar Processing Unit
03/10/2021 - Japanese long products maker Topy Industries Ltd. has put a new Danieli-built bar straightener into service at its Toyohashi plant.
According to Danieli, the straightener, which was installed independently of the rolling train, is processing profiles and sections, including equal, unequal and inverted angles, grating beams, deformed flats, and mast rails. The unit was designed to accommodate quick roll changes, which can be carried out in 30 minutes, Danieli said.
Manufactured at Danieli workshops in China, the 60-metric-ton unit was shipped as a single piece to Topy’s private dock, Danieli said.
