According to Danieli, the project entails installation of Danieli Centro Combustion proprietary MAB flameless and RAD radiant burners, allowing the Skopje plant to reduce natural gas consumption and NOx emissions. The project also includes a high-efficiency heat recuperation system and new, high-insulating refractory lining.

Danieli also will supervise plant start-up and train personnel. 

The upgrade will be executed by mid-2025, Danieli said.
