Danieli Lands Order for Hot Mill Spindles
05/31/2022 - Danieli has received an order from thyssenkrupp for a set of heavy-duty slipper spindles for a hot strip mill in Duisburg, Germany.
According to a Danieli announcement, the order entails a complete set of air/oil lubricated spindles along with ancillary equipment and spares. The spindles are to be installed on the No. 1 hot mill at thyssenkrupp’s Bruckhausen plant in Duisburg.
“The new DanJoint spindles will be designed to suit new thyssenkrupp rolling parameters, and facilitate the replacement of the existing spindles, minimizing shutdown time,” Daniel said in a statement.
