Danieli Lands Expanded Order from Steel Dynamics
01/16/2018 - Danieli said it has won a follow-on order for a water treatment plant at Steel Dynamics Inc.’s Columbia City, Ind., USA, bar mill.
In an announcement Tuesday, Danieli said the plant will include a direct cooling circuit with a capacity of 1,100 cubic meters per hour and an indirect cooling circuit with a capacity of 460 cubic meters per hour.
The plant will utilize Danieli’s patented DANfilter sand filters.
The order follows one for a new biller welder and rebar spooling line at the mill, Danieli said.
