Danieli Corus Wins Contract for Rebuild of Blast Furnace at SAIL’s Rourkela Plant
08/29/2014 - Danieli Corus has received a contract for the rebuild of Blast Furnace No. 1 at the Rourkela Steel Plant of the Steel Authority of India.
The contract was awarded to a consortium, consisting of Essar Projects, Danieli Corus India Ltd. and Danieli Corus BV.
This is the company's second major blast furnace project at Rourkela Steel Plant after the greenfield Blast Furnace No. 5, which was commissioned in August 2013.
