Danieli Corus to Upgrade PCI System for Tata Steel
06/24/2013 - Danieli Corus has received an order from Tata Steel for the engineering, materials supply, supervision and erection services for upgrading the PCI system at its blast furnace “G” in Jamshedpur, India.
The current system is designed to inject 45 t/h and the upgraded system will inject 67 t/h, which necessitates the redesign of the feed tanks, transport & injection lines and updating valves in the system. The automation system will also be reprogrammed to cater for the increased injection levels.
