Danieli Corus to Modify Stack Cooling System of BF No. 7 at SAIL Bhilai Steel Plant
09/24/2013 - Danieli Corus has received an order from the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) for the modification of the stack cooling system of blast furnace No. 7 at the Bhilai Steel Plant.
The project entails replacing the existing cast iron staves in rows S3 and S4 of the furnace with copper staves and the replacement of the existing cast iron staves in rows S5 and S6 with imported cast iron staves. Damaged parts of the furnace shell will also be replaced.
