Danieli Corus has received an order for four sublance-based BOF process control systems from JSW Steel. The systems will operate with the static–dynamic process control model for BOF Steelmaking, which allows for fully automated converter operation from charge to tap with all systems running in full computer mode.

Danieli Corus says this confirms its position of market leader in BOF process control in the global steel industry. This project is the second supply of sublance-based systems to JSW Steel, after an earlier order for three identical units.
