Danieli Corus Receives Order for BF Upgrade
11/10/2021 - Russian steel producer Tulachermet has selected Danieli Corus to provide a new top-charging unit for the blast furnace #3 at its facility in Tula, according to a press release from Danieli.
As part of a modernization project, the furnace will be upgraded to chute-based charging, which will increase productivity and efficiency in its next campaign.
The new burdening system will feature Danieli’s DANCU distributor for reduced maintenance time and complexity.
The furnace is scheduled to operational in 2022.
