In a statement, the equipment supplier said its Centro Maskin HiGrind technology will be put to use on 140-mm and 150-mm billets in lengths of up to 16 m.

The two grinders will be manufactured at Danieli China in Changsu. Electrics and automation will be supplied by Danieli Automation.

“The new installation, foreseen by spring 2020, will allow the increase of quality products requested by the market,” Danieli said in a statement.
