According to Danieli, the hot-rolled pickling and galvanizing line is bound for Tata’s cold rolling complex at its Tarapur facility in India. 

Danieli said the line is intended the diversify the company’s portfolio of competitively priced hot-rolled galvanized products. 

The line will incorporate Danieli’s Turboflo pickling technology, a Danieli Centro Combustion vertical heat-to-coat furnace, and the X-Jet gas-wiping system. The plant will be run by Danieli Automation electrical and automation systems.

Commissioning is planned for late 2026.
