For each drive, the existing cards will be replaced with a new digital regulator, keeping the existing power pack. An operator panel, which will allow set-up and alarms visualization, will be provided for each regulator and it will be installed in the front door of the existing switchboard. The new digital regulators will exchange all the reference signals (start/stop, torque, speed, current) with the mill speed control via profiBUS connection.
