Danieli Automation Ships MV Cabinets for Dunaferr’s Drive System Revamp
12/25/2014 - After integrated testing with customer technicians, successfully performed in DA Workshop, Danieli Automation completed the shipment of the MV cabinets for the QDrive MV drive system for the hot strip mill roughing stand for the Dunaferr revamping project in Hungary.
The driven motor is a synchronous MV machine, salient poles rotor, rated at 7,000 kW, at 3,150 Vac as stator voltage, with speed range of 0 – 50 / 120 rpm, with rated torque of 1,337 kNm. The large motor has a shaft height of approximately 2,500 mm, and weighs around 170 tons.
