TOLO, a microalgae producer, is working with Danieli and they aim to create a new system that can capture and convert CO₂ for reuse. The microalgae technology converts 2 kg of CO₂ per 1 kg of algae; the output can be used to make different high-quality products, according to a press release.

This solution will be available primarily to steel producers, the company said. However, it can also be applied to other industries where there is high CO₂ production.
