Czech Steelmaker Orders Casting Automation Package
09/25/2019 - Danieli Automation will install a new casting temperature simulation package at Třinecké Železárny, an integrated producer of long products located in the Czech Republic.
Danieli said in an announcement that it will equip two of the steelmaker’s continuous casters with its Danieli 3Q liquid pool control (LPC) model. The 3Q LPC is a mathematical model that simulates casting product temperatures in real time using parameters such as steel grade and product dimensions.
Commissioning of the new 3Q LPC system will take place in the new few months.
