Court Rules Against Steel Importers' Section 232 Challenge
03/25/2019 - The U.S. Court of International Trade has rejected a challenge to the Trump administration’s Section 232 steel tariffs, reports Politico.
According to Politico, the court disagreed with the steel importers who brought the case, finding that the law under which the tariffs were imposed did not a violate a constitutional prohibition against the transfer of powers, as the plaintiffs in the case had argued.
