March 26, 2007 — Commercial Metals Co.’s board of directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of nine cents per share on common stock.

The cash dividend will be paid on April 20, 2007, to shareholders of record for April 6, 2007.

This is the 170th consecutive quarterly cash dividend paid by Commercial Metals Co.
