The company said in an announcement that between the new production site and its existing licensing agreement with Cascade Steel Rolling Mills Inc., it will be able to offer the product coast to coast.  

“CMC is committed to being a leading innovator in the concrete reinforcement industry,” the company said. “The combination of the branded high-strength, corrosion-resistant steel products and CMC’s coast-to-coast steel production capabilities and distribution network will benefit our customers and expand the reach of our ChrōmX products.” 

CMC acquired MMFX Technologies last fall. Its ChrōmX rebar is a line of proprietary grades of high-strength, corrosion-resistant rebar.
