Commerce to Issue Antidumping Order on Rectangular Pipe and Tube from Turkey

The U.S. Department of Commerce has announced it will issue an antidumping duty order on imports of light-walled rectangular pipe and tube from Turkey.

The announcement follows the U.S. International Trade Commission’s (ITC’s) finding of material injury to a U.S. industry due to imports of this product from Turkey that the U.S. Department of Commerce has determined are sold in the United States at less than fair value.

The investigation had covered rectangular (including square) welded carbon-quality light-walled steel pipe and tube with a wall thickness of less than 4 mm.

Chairman Daniel R. Pearson, Vice Chairman Shara L. Aranoff, and Commissioners Deanna Tanner Okun, Charlotte R. Lane, and Irving A. Williamson voted in the affirmative. Commissioner Dean A. Pinkert did not participate in this investigation.
