According to Red Bud, the line includes a coil stage and load system, a dual cone uncoiler, a heavy-gauge peeler/breaker, a straightener, a 12,000 mm stretcher-leveler, and a heavy-gauge drop stacker with 30-ton end discharge rollouts, among other things. 
 
“The new Red Bud cut-to-length line with a stretcher leveler has unique capabilities combined with the latest technology that will significantly expand our processing capabilities while also improving the quality and efficiency of our operations,” said Kevin Friedman, Coil Steel Processing’s owner.  
 
Red Bud said the line has the ability to operate in start/stop mode when running thicker material and in looping mode when running 9.5 mm and thinner material. Loop mode significantly increases productivity and throughput while stretching, the company said.
