Coatings Company Acquires American Galvanizer
10/01/2015 - American Galvanizing Co. Inc., a leading hot-dipped galvanizer in the northeastern United States, has been sold to Valmont Industries Inc.
In an announcement, Valmont said the acquisition will expand its coatings’ network to 33 facilities and six countries. A purchase price wasn’t disclosed.
Valmont said American Galvanizing is a well-established company, having been in business for more than 30 years. It serves structural steel fabricators and steel manufacturers throughout the northeastern U.S.
“With this acquisition, Valmont Coatings expands its business into this important market,” the company said.
