CMI FPE Ltd., an Indian subsidiary of CMI Industry, has entered into a new agreement with Tezcan Galvaniz A.S. of Turkey for the design, manufacture and supply of a 6 Hi reversing cold rolling mill. This is the second installation of a 6 Hi mill from CMI FPE in Turkey.

The mill has a total capacity of 350,000 tons per year. It is suitable for 1350 mm wide coils and 1400 mpm process speed. The mill will be equipped with level-2 automation and Automatic Flatness Control system and will be commissioned within 17 months.

CMI Industry has been active in the Turkish steel market since 2001. CMI Industry has supplied several Turkish steelmakers with various major production equipment: galvanizing lines, furnaces for galvanizing lines, acid regeneration plants and push-pull pickling lines.
