CMC Announces Management Promotions
08/10/2010 - Commercial Metals Co.'s Board of Directors has promoted four officers, all of whom had previously been elected a Vice President of CMC. They will now serve as Senior Vice President in addition to their existing titles reflecting specific areas of responsibility.
Commercial Metals Co. (CMC) recently announced that the Board of Directors has promoted four officers, all of whom had previously been elected a Vice President of CMC. They will now serve as Senior Vice President in addition to their existing titles reflecting specific areas of responsibility.
The new designations are:
- Tracy Porter, Senior Vice President and President, CMC Americas Division
- Devesh Sharma, Senior Vice President of Business Development and Business Processes
- Jim Alleman, Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Organizational Development
- Ann Bruder, Senior Vice President of Law, Government Affairs and Global Trade Compliance; General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
Porter is a 19-year CMC employee, Sharma has been with CMC for two years, Alleman has been with the company for five years, and Bruder has been an employee for three years.
Murray McClean, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of CMC, said, "These appointments recognize the significant responsibilities and contributions that Tracy, Devesh, Jim, and Ann have made to CMC, and each designation is well deserved."
