Greg Brandon is joining CMC Steel Alabama as director of operations on 1 September.

Brandon previously served at the Commercial Metals Co.’s recycling facility in Lexington, S.C. He replaces Stephen Weaver, who is now serving as director of operations for CMC Steel Texas in Seguin, Texas. Brandon began his career with CMC in 1998.

Commercial Metals Co. employs more than 400 people at CMC Steel Alabama, CMC Recycling and CMC Impact Metals in Alabama.
